WALA: how tessellations work and how they look to get ideas about how to design our own.
there are four requirements to make a tessellation: 1. no overlapping, 2. no gapes, 3. shapes, 4. pattern.
the person who connected maths and art with tessellations is M. C. Escher, he was born in 17 June 1898, and died 27 March 1972.
Welcome to my blog, I am a student at Paparoa Range School in Blackball, on the West Coast of New Zealand.

coordinates and map work
We have been learning coordinates and working with maps and compasses to go in the wild.
We are planning to go to camp and kayaking. We have to use maps, coordinates, and compasses to find out where we are going. To learn we drew our own maps and coordinates, floorplans.
My favourite activity was the chocolate.
i think i am good at reading maps and coordinates
